Prior to joining Hogan Eickhoff, Michael attended the University of Wisconsin Law School. Early on, Michael took particular interest in Criminal Law and Constitutional Law, which spurred his decision to participate in the Legal Assistance to Institutionalized Persons (LAIP) clinic where he gained experience in criminal defense. In the following years, he gained additional experience and perspective while interning for Dane County Judge Remington and for the Wisconsin Department of Justice Criminal Litigation Unit. This unique background gives Michael the ability to look at your case from multiple angles to determine the best options for your case.

Personally, Michael hails from Reedsburg, WI, where he is the youngest of five children. He attended DePaul University and graduated with a double major in History and Political Science prior to attending law school and joining Hogan Eickhoff. Although a transplant to the Fox Cities, he feels at home having grown up a Packer fan and spending time in Door County every summer. He is a parishioner at St. Joseph’s in Appleton and is enjoying trying all the local fish fries and the natural beauty that the Fox Cities have to offer. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, hiking, golfing and watching the Packers, Badgers, Bucks and Brewers.
